As the new Year begins, spring returns to the earth, and the new semester comes over unannounced. In order to make the school work carried out smoothly and orderly, and create a good learning and growing environment for students, Anqing Foreign Language School's Primary Section held a series of work meetings before students returned to school.
In the first place, at 11 A.M. of February 20th, all the head teachers of the Primary Section gathered in the joint classroom after the school opening meeting for all the staff. Under the leadership of Director Zhao Xinlong, the first head teachers' meeting of the new semester was held, during which Director Zhao Xinlong once again stressed the importance of the head teachers' work, further clarified the responsibilities of their work, arranged in details the procedures for registration, made a warm prompt in regard to relevant matters needing attention, and required the head teachers to hold the first class meetings well in the new semester to ensure that students could quickly adapt to the campus life, and establish a good class discipline and learning style.
In the second place, at 9 A.M. of February 21st, Director Zhao Xinlong held a new semester work meeting for all the teachers in the joint classroom of the Primary Section. At the meeting, Director Zhao Xinlong reviewed the performance highlight and the achievements obtained in the Primary Section of the last semester, mainly pointed out the problems existing in the work, and put forward higher requirements for all the teachers regarding the work in the new semester: teachers should have higher responsibility consciousness, legal consciousness, continue to strengthen the construction of teachers' ethics, comprehensively promote the quality of education and teaching to a new level and promote the healthy and comprehensive growth of students. Later on, Principal Huang Zuning came up with eight words to share with everyone 'Positivity, Self-Discipline, Diligence and Perseverance', hoping that teachers could be more positive towards study, work and life, face up to their own shortcomings, constantly improve themselves, and promote work performance and life quality.
In the third place, at 10 A.M of February 21st, the first teaching and research leaders' meeting was held in the second-floor teaching and research office of the Primary Section. At the meeting, the leaders of the teaching and research groups of Chinese, mathematics, English, morality and rule of law and comprehensive subjects thought deeply about the existing deficiencies in the teaching work of last semester, and formulated detailed teaching plans and effective methods and measures for the teaching work of this semester respectively. In addition, Deputy Director Xu Yanxia of the Primary Section made detailed arrangements for the education and teaching work in the first week, and introduced the key work of education and teaching in this semester. Last but not the least, Director Zhao Xinlong and Principal Huang Zuning respectively raised pertinent and valuable opinions on how to carry out teaching and research more efficiently and promote the development of teachers.
In conclusion, the prelude to the new semester has been opened, and the teachers are full of vitality and confidence. It's believed that under the joint efforts of all the teachers, the new semester's work will be carried out in an orderly and fruitful way!
